How to Get the Most Out of Your Press Release
CarDealerPR.com's mission is to help car dealers online. We do that by providing a free place for dealerships to publish and syndicate their news (more on syndication later). But as any good business person knows, with every opportunity there are ways to maximize results.
In that tradition, here's how to get the absolute most out of the release you publish with us:
1) Make your release news worthy. Announce something, a cool new vehicle available, an impressive or unique discount or special your offering customers, or an event you are participating in or sponsoring (either on your own or in conjunction with a charity.
2) Use your dealership's name as your username. Name your account here your dealership's name to help it appear in searches for your dealership above any possible negative review sites.
3) Include your URL. Complete the user info fields at registration to include the URL of your website. This ensures it appears along with your release.
4) Link to your release. By linking to your press release from another site the chances of it appearing online (And therefore helping your visibility) increases. This also helps the trust level of your release, and adds more punch to the link which is placed along with it (see number #3 above). Wouldn't it be nice to have your press release here appear above a negative comment on some review site?
5) Link to your user profile. Like #4 above, this increases your visibility. It helps your account here appear above possible negative results from ratings sites. This really helps when you make your username your dealership's name (see #2).
By completing these you'll help your own website and online reputation. You need to take advantage of every opportunity that you control. This way the results people see in search engines for your business name are what you want, and not something out of your control like the before-mentioned ratings sites.
